Melissa T. Roman is an attorney and a certified Guardian ad Litem. For 11 years, I have served as a GAL in abuse and neglect cases through the WV Supreme Court, and has dealt with nearly 1,000 cases. I have been a member of the WV State Bar since 2007, and have previously worked in civil litigation at Waters, Warner & Harris, Farmer, Cline & Campbell, and Klie Law Offices. I have owned and run my own law firm, Melissa T. Roman, PLLC, since October, 2021. I recently presented at the WV Supreme Court improvement panel at Stonewall Resort discussing resources and barriers in abuse and neglect cases. I currently practice in Randolph, Lewis and Upshur counties.
