My name is Courtney Wheeling, and I live in Bridgeport, West Virginia, with my husband, Tim, and our two children, Wesley (4) and Reese (1). I am originally from Buckhannon, WV, and attended West Virginia University, where I was a member of the swim team and earned my master’s degree in counseling.
I began my career as a middle school counselor at Sherrard Middle School, located in Wheeling, WV where I spent five wonderful years supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally. I then moved into elementary education as a school counselor at Nutter Fort Primary School in Harrison County Schools. For the past three and a half years, I have served as the Assistant Principal at Skyview Elementary School in Monongalia County.
I am excited to begin a new adventure as the Certificate in Addiction Counseling Administrative Coordinator, a role that allows me to return to my roots in counseling while continuing to support and connect with others in meaningful ways.
